Talk to me please: the engaging art of conversation

Morning

How do you feel about conversations? In this class, we will explore your specific interests in developing, maintaining, and engaging in meaningful, artful conversations. We will examine questions such as:

- Is it difficult to start a conversation?

- Does shyness keep you silent?

- Does extroversion take over, making it difficult to stop talking?

- What place does small talk have?

- Are deep conversations uncomfortable?

- How can we listen more effectively?

- Are awkward moments difficult to resolve?

- What should you do when a conversation gets off track?

Our class will be a safe and secure place to try new, creative ways to converse, to recognize and practice individual contributions to the conversations we have each day, and to explore questions you have regarding your growth in the art of conversation.
