And they're off!

And they're off! The Owatonna CITs are out on their sea kayaking trip and now they will be putting their hard work and craftsmanship to the test. For the past three weeks, the CITs have been crafting their own, personal Greenland sea kayak paddles. Made in the traditional style of the Greenlandic Inuit, these paddles are measured and shaped to fit each individual paddler. The boys spent their time measuring, marking, cutting, shaving, sanding, decorating, and oiling their two-by-fours until they were ready to take out on the water and now they get to try them out over the next five days as they explore some of the islands in Casco Bay. It will be an amazing experience!
