I’m an artist, wife and mom who loves to make things, spend time in nature, and watch the seasons change. As a painter, I’m especially inspired by light, beauty and the natural world, and by finding ways to translate what I see into something deeper and more metaphysical. My creative life has taken many forms over the years—from photography and prop styling to painting, design and creating objects.
Newfound-Owatonna has been part of our family for many years. My husband, Adam, and I loved watching our two sons blossom here as little boys—it was their favorite place in the world. I’ve spent several summers as an Owatonna camp mom, while Adam has helped build the amphitheater, worked in the kitchen, and pitched in wherever needed. We’ve also loved helping together at Family Camp.
I’m so excited to now become the director of Creative Arts and to bring together wonderful artists and teachers for a week of creating, exploring, connecting and discovering something new.
