Theater Scene Study and Improv

Afternoon

This class is a celebration of the freedom of expression, which is truly natural for everyone, through an active exploration of theatre scenes. We will focus on the foundations of acting with an emphasis on partner connection and active play, which fosters strength and freedom in day-to-day communication. We will delve into scenes with dialogue between participants and/or monologues, depending on what participants wish to do. Participants will be guided in vocal and breath exercises as well as improv and theatre games to support their scene work and to dissolve any sense of limitation - (and it's just plain fun). Participants will come away having experienced the joy of bringing a scene to life, communicating, and moving freely.

Absolutely no experience necessary!
