The main emphasis will be composition, color theory (including value studies), and a little perspective if needed. Demonstrations will be in watercolor, but oil, pastels, or gouache are welcomed and perfectly acceptable. I find using watercolor is much easier with less mess when painting outdoors. Thus the materials lists will be basically for watercolor, but the colors are adaptable to all other mediums.
