Forest Bless, Program Director
Tyler Maltbie, Head Counselor
Brandon Frank:
Hello! This will be my third summer as Director of Camp Owatonna. I look forward to the amazing spiritual growth and character development that will happen this summer with our boys and young men. I am especially excited to see our excellent staff in action as they serve as role models of manhood for campers from around the country. While Harrison, Maine, is my “home away from home,” I spend the rest of the year in St. Louis coaching The Principia School boy’s soccer team and running a small business that offers soccer technical training to individuals and small groups. Thanks so much and I hope you are as excited as I am for this summer!
Forrest Bless:
This will be my fifteenth summer at Owatonna: my eighth on staff and my fourth on Senior Staff. I was grew up in Vermont, graduated from Principia College in 2007, spent this past winter living and working on a ranch in southern Chile, and am currently calling northern California home. This summer, I will be balancing the responsibilities of Program Director and Assistant Director, working to both fill our summer days with fun, diverse, and challenging activities and helping to see that campers and counselors alike are enjoying Owatonna to the fullest. Owatonna is a true home-away-from-home for me and I am very excited about this summer!
Tyler Maltbie:
Hello friends of Owatonna! I am from Ipswich, MA, graduated in 2008 from Principia College with a degree in Mass Communications, and have spent the past year traveling in South East Asia and working in web development in Boston. I am excited to be returning to Owatonna for my fifth summer of Long Lake living. As Head Counselor, I look forward to meeting all of the Owatonna campers, spending time in the cabins and in activity areas, and helping to make this summer fun, challenging, rewarding, and exciting for every camper and counselor.
