Whether you are picking up a digital camera for the first time or are an avid hobby photographer, this course will help take your image making to the next level. We will delve into the principles of manual exposure, composition, natural lighting, and basic flash photography as well as introduce digital manipulation and inkjet printing. About Kat Andrews
After graduating from Principia College in 2002, Kat Andrews went on to study at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA. After her studies, she immersed herself in the Commercial Print photography industry in Los Angeles, CA, running the digital Capture department at Smashbox Studios. Now she is in New York City where she continues her work with many of today's leading commercial and fashion editorial photographers as a freelance Digital Technician and Retouch Artist. She works with today's top photographers to take their artistic vision and match it in digital print. Specializing in digital capture and post-process retouching and printing, Kat loves sharing the tips and tricks of photography that are consistent from the simplest family point-and-shoot moment to the capture of this month’s magazine covers.
