Capital Projects

We've been working to restore and update our buildings and activity areas for the last seven winters – slowly but surely working down our list of projects which includes nearly 100 structures! Each step of the way has unfolded naturally to include every detail from the building plans and contractors to the exact amount of funds from our donors – Camp alumni and parents, friends and foundations – to meet every expense. As each project has been completed, we have seen the breathtaking results of our prayers and practical wisdom in the way Camp has retained its charm and simplicity.

We dug into a multi-faceted project this fall that simply couldn't wait any longer to be addressed: a proper drainage system for the Newfound hill followed by the replacement of the three Newfound tennis courts. At the same time, we are restoring and replacing the foundations of the hill cubie houses and Hilltop Lodge. This project is a long-awaited GIANT step in Camp's progress – and will be completed in time for Opening Day, June 25 th .

We can use your support of this project right now. With the winter weather finally clearing out of Maine , we are ready to continue the work that was begun in September and put on hold in early December. We still need to raise $40,000 for this project. Donations to Camp may be made at any time, in any amount.
