The daily schedule is well-organized yet flexible. Meals are hearty and nutritious and are a time when campers and counselors eat together as a family unit, often ending dinner by singing Camp songs. Quiet Hour is a thirty-minute opportunity for cabin mates to read the weekly Bible Lesson quietly or among themselves. Morning meeting establishes the day for the whole Camp. Campers and counselors read a section of the Lesson aloud, sing hymns, and share inspired thoughts before heading to their activities.
Two morning activity periods give campers time to interact with new friends from other cabins, try a variety of activities, and improve their skills. Rest Hour is a favorite time for both campers and counselors to regroup in their cabins for quiet letter-writing, reading, and snoozing. Two more afternoon activity periods ensure that campers have the opportunity to take a daily class in each of the four main activity areas: swimming, boating, individuals/arts, and team sports. Free period at the end of the day enables a camper to return to an activity to finish a project or become more proficient. Evening activities vary from Capture- Capture the- Flag games to counselor hunts, from the-Gitchy-Goomie to Stratego, from making s'mores over a lakeside fire to bumper- bumper tubing to canoe paddling to the nearby paddling town of Harrison . On Saturday evenings, both Camps enjoy separate all-Camp campfires.
