Sun, glorious sun, for yet another day! We are awash with gratitude for the beautiful weather that we've had this summer. Yesterday, down at Newfound, was a wild and crazy day! It was "Sping-dong" Day which means that the campers and counselors dress in crazy attire--no uniforms were needed yesterday! To top off "Sping-dong" Day, at dinner, the girls each randomly selected ONE utensil (or spatula, tongs, serving spoon, etc.) with which to eat their entire meal of chicken fettucini alfredo! A full day of laughter, giggling, and silliness! At Owatonna, two more inter-camp games were played today: U11 soccer and U15 lacrosse teams competed against local camps. Down at the lake, several campers got up for the first time on skis in the past few days, and another was working to pass out of the highest level in sailing—becoming an Admiral. These are just a few examples of the fun and progress that happens each and every day here at camp.
