Sping-Dong Day and Jr. Division Night

Wednesday, July 13, 2011

You may have seen some crazy photos on the website from the past couple of days; indeed, strange and silly days have abounded lately!  Yesterday, was Sping-Dong Day at Newfound!  Sping-Dong day is a tradition of anything goes.  The crazier, the better, on Sping-Dong Day!  You'll see photos of the campers and counselors dressed in silly outfits, hair done in silly ways, and more.  They had a great time--and even greater--the girls can come up with something silly without any preparation or costumes from home--they just need to use their creativity!
More creativity was on display last night at Newfound during their Talent Show.  To see some of the many great acts, check out the videos section of our photo page.
At Owatonna last night, it was Junior Division Night.  The entire younger half of camp went on a campus-wide "alien hunt."  Much fun was had as the campers followed clues to find the invading "aliens" (see the photos to see them for yourself!), and then campers and "aliens" alike enjoyed the huge slip 'n' slide--a perfect way to cool down on a warm evening!
